Choosing a university is a big decision, so make sure you come along to our open day and see Roehampton for yourself. Walk through campus, chat with our students, and get a feel for life at Roehampton. You might find it feels like home.
What you'll do on the day
- Explore the campus: join a student-led tour of our facilities, world-class library, and accommodation, and see where you'd actually be living and learning
- Deep-dive into your course: join a subject specific talk led by academics who will teach you, ask the questions that matter to you, and get a feel for studying at Roehampton
- Meet our staff: our Student and Support Fair is your chance to talk to the teams who will support you throughout your degree. You can chat to Accommodation, Admissions, Wellbeing, Finance, Disabilities and Dyslexia, and Student Futures - our dedicated Careers team - to get the answers you need
- Get a taste of student life: speak to our student ambassadors, chat with our Students' Union, and find out all about our Study Abroad opportunities.
If you're registered, we will email it to you too – planning how you spend the day, will help you get the most out of it.

Coming along to a open day is the first step towards starting your future career. To help make sure you get the most out of your visit, here's our top tips:
Be prepared
Think about what you really want to know, is there something specific you'd like more information on? A module you'd like to know more about, what career you could get after you graduate or how you'll afford to pay for your studies. Whatever the question, write it down so you don't forget! You can always take notes on the day.
Plan the day
Think about how you want to spend the day with us. What talks do you want to attend? Is there a support team you need to chat with? Would you like to take a tour of the campus and facilities?
Chat to our students
Our student ambassadors are current students and will be on hand to chat to you throughout the day about anything. You can ask them what their favourite spots on campus are or what advice they would give you about being a new student.
Cherish the moment
What better way to remember the day and experience, than to take notes and even photos!
Checkout the local area
Why not see what local shops and places to eat are near to campus, you could even visit Putney or Richmond?
No, you can arrive and leave when you want. Make sure you view the schedule to see what is happening throughout the day, so you can plan.
Of course. There will be shuttle buses running throughout the day to take you to Barnes Station or it's a 15 minute walk.
