The University of Roehampton warmly welcomes students from Columbia. We host representatives from over 140 nationalities around the world, offering a uniquely diverse student experience. Our Columbian students can be found across all our academic departments, studying programmes such as Business, Arts, Education, Humanities, Psychology, Life Sciences and Social Sciences.

  • UCAS International Equivalents (64 entry tariff)
  • 5 GCSE / GCSE passes at grade C/4 or in an international equivalent

Bachelors

  • British GCE A Levels (per UCAS tariff points)

  • For 2:1 courses,  CGPA 3.75 in Bachelors degree
  • For 2:2 courses, CGPA 4 in Bachelors degree

  • Academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 in each component (Clinical Nutrition)

For students who do not yet meet the required level of English, you can take a preparation course at the University of Roehampton before commencing your degree programme. We offer a range of Pre-sessional English courses for students who need to develop their English.

Funding

Colombian Scholarships / Grants

Tuition fee discounts

A 2% tuition fee discount will be given to all students who make full payment of their tuition fees online by the published date of enrolment. Our payment options can be found here.

A 20% tuition fee discount on campus-based courses will be given for all UK, EU and international Roehampton alumni holding a full undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification and those who studied here on an exchange/study abroad programme, for any higher programme of study. This reduction will be applied to the tuition fee prior to payment.

International Excellence Scholarship

We offer a range of generous scholarships worth up to £4000 per year to high achieving undergraduate and postgraduate international students.

Undergraduate (Bachelor's)

  • £4000 scholarships available (x3 years)
  • £2500 scholarships available (x3 years)
  • £1000 scholarships available (x3 years)

Postgraduate (Master's)

September entry:

  • £4000 scholarships available (1 year)
  • £2500 scholarships available (1 year)
  • £1000 scholarships available (1 year)

January entry:

  • £4000 scholarships (1 year)
  • £2500 scholarships (1 year)
  • £1000 scholarships (1 year)
Country Scholarships

We know how much the costs of tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation are in real terms, so we have put in place extra financial support to help students to afford to study at Roehampton.

  • Country Scholarship A: This award is worth £2,500 to each successful applicants who enrols.
  • Country Scholarship B: This award is worth £1,500 to each successful applicants who enrols.

Scholarship awarded for each year of study (maximum of one year for Postgraduate)

Eligibility

We will automatically consider you for this award if you hold a conditional offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course. You must successfully enrol in order to receive the award.

Scholarship will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount.

  • Scholarship A: Be a national of, and living in, one of these countries: Albania; Bangladesh; Brazil; Colombia; Myanmar; Nepal; Pakistan; Nigeria; Ghana; Sri Lanka; Vietnam; Thailand; Indonesia; Kenya
  • Scholarship B: Be a national of, and living in, one of these countries: Egypt, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Morocco, Taiwan, Turkey; Mexico; South Africa

In addition, you must:

  • Be self-funded, studying full-time and paying overseas tuition fees
  • Hold a conditional offer for a qualifying course before the deadline
  • Not be progressing to us through our partnership with QA Higher Education, students progressing through this route will be eligible for alternative scholarship offerings

Further Information

This award cannot combined with any other Roehampton scholarship or discount. If you are eligible for two scholarships or discounts, we will award you the one of the highest value.

The University of Roehampton has sole discretion to assign, vary or withdraw this award.

 

COLFUTURO Scholarships (PG)

COLFUTURO supports Colombian professionals who dream of transforming their future by carrying out a master’s program, a Ph.D., or a specialization in the area of health, in universities enjoying the highest academic rankings in the world. It provides affordable loans to help Colombian students pay for their postgraduate studies. More information is available here.

Commonwealth Scholarship (PG)

Commonwealth Scholarships are aimed at students from across the Commonwealth who would not otherwise be able to afford to study in the UK.  These scholarships are available for students from Commonwealth countries, including Colombia, to pursue postgraduate studies in the UK. Chevening Scholarship (PG)

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, we are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.

Because these scholarships are fully-funded (flights, accommodation, and course fees are all included), you are free to focus on achieving your professional goals and maximising the experience of a lifetime.

September entry

All international students who apply before 31st July will be guaranteed university accommodation. Applications for September entry can be made from the beginning of February.

January entry

We also offer a range of accommodation options for students starting in January, applications can be made from the beginning of November.
