Our Location

So where is Roehampton we hear you ask?

Roehampton is based in leafy southwest London, in-between the neighbourhoods of Putney, Wimbledon, Richmond and Barnes.

New to Roehampton? Almost everything you need is right on your doorstep, and the rest of what London has to offer is only a bus, tube or train journey away.

What's near?

Some of our students’ top local spots are:

  • Putney embankment: walk with friends, grab a drink or a snack, and even catch a boat race on the river
  • Local shops and take-aways: as well as our on-campus shop, our local co-op, Greggs, Morley’s and Subway are a short walk from campus!
  • Richmond Park: a must-visit if you’ve never been! It’s the largest Royal park, where you can walk, run or cycle through the woodlands and spot herds of deer. Make sure you go for a picnic in the summer - it’s beautiful
  • Putney High Street: our nearest big high-street, with everything from from H&M and Boots, to Wagamama's and Be at One. There’s also great charity shops, a cinema, supermarkets, pubs, and bars, so you can be sure all you need is close-by.

From some of the best sporting venues in the world, to fringe entertainment venues, there is so much to explore in southwest London and its different neighbourhoods.

What our students say

“It’s easy to travel to the city, there’s multiple train stations, that have different connections as well. It’s about 15 minutes from central London and there’s also Putney High Street. The Roehampton bus, which is free for students makes it cheap to get around.”

Rebecca, BA Primary Education
