We offer a range of financial support, as well as providing you with advice and help when you need it.

Alongside the support available from us, you may be able to get financial help from the government to pay your tuition fees and cover your living costs. 

If you want to live on campus, we offer some of the most affordable rooms in London, or if you're thinking of commuting to our Southwest London, we make it easy with our free bus service and free on-campus parking.

Our team of Student Wellbeing Officers will always be on hand to answer any questions you have about managing your money as well as signposting you to useful resources.

We offer a range of scholarships, including those that recognise academic excellence and those that support students with talent in music, sports and esports.

We also offer scholarships to high-achieving international students and those referred by a Roehampton alumnus.

If you normally live in England, you can apply for a loan to help cover your course fees.

The loans are only repayable when you graduate and earn a certain amount. They can be supplemented in some cases by a loan covering the cost of living.

Help when you need it most.

Our Student Hardship Fund and emergency loans will provide you with financial assistance if you're going through financial diffculty or unexpected hardship.

As a Roehampton student, you will be able to apply once per academic year, and funding includes emergency loans (repayable) and Student Hardship Fund (non-repayable loans).

You may be eligible for extra support from the government.

The following are grants, which you won't have to repay. You can apply for:

  • Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)
  • Parents' Learning Allowance and Childcare Grant
  • Adult Dependants' Grant

NHS Learning Support Fund (LSA)

A NHS training grant of £3,000 per academic year is available on a range of healthcare programmes. This applies if you're planning to study the following courses:

  • Nursing
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Speech and language therapy

We have some of the most affordable student accommodation in London.

We offer a range of different room options on-campus, so you can pick what suits you and your budget.

If you accept an offer with us before the deadline, we can guarantee you a place.

You'll be able to take advantage of:

  • Our free bus service, which runs between Roehampton, Putney, Barnes Station and our local supermarket, Asda
  • Free on-campus parking (one of the only London universities to do so!)
  • Secure bike storage, showers and lockers
  • College kitchens, where'll you'll be able to reheat your food from home 
  • Our wide range of food and drink outlets on-campus

Our on-site recruitment agency is on hand to help you find part-time whilst your studying with us.

You could work as a student ambassador, a research assistant or a conference host.
