Financial support
We know that university can be expensive, but we will do everything we can to ensure you live your best student life, whatever your financial situation.
Scholarships and bursaries
- Academic Excellence Scholarship: Receive up to £3,000 for outstanding A-level or equivalent results.
- Roehampton Undergraduate Bursary: Automatically awarded £1,000 in your first year if you're eligible for a full maintenance loan.
- Esports Scholarships: Secure £2,000 annually for demonstrating exceptional talent in esports.
- Scholarship for Sporting Excellence: Cash scholarships are available, worth between £500 and £1500 per year, based on submission of an application.

If you apply and accept your offer from us before the deadline, we’ll be able to guarantee you a spot in halls. You can choose to live with people you know, in single-sex or quiet flats — it’s totally up to you.

The Roehampton Students’ Union is dedicated to enhancing your university experience. From joining societies to volunteering and cheering at sports games, there's so much you can get involved in.
You'll be able to join one of our competitive sports teams, which range from archery to squash, or get involved in a huge range of social sport sessions. You could also join our gym run by Nutfield Health.
Esports and gaming
You'll have the opportunity to level up your gaming in our world-class esports arena, which is equipped with high-performance PCs, where you can compete in national tournaments or relax after lectures.
If you fancy unleashing your creative side and creating your own content, our dedicated streaming room is equipped with green screens, cameras, lights and professional gear for you to do your thing.
