Non-EU citizens will need a visa to study in the UK. If you are planning to spend less than six months in the UK and do not intend to work, you will need a Short-term Study Visa. Students from particular countries can obtain a Short-term Study Visa at the border without needing to apply in advance. Take this quick online survey to confirm if you will need to apply in advance for your visa.
If you plan to work or do an internship as part of your Study Abroad programme, or if your programme lasts longer than six months, you will need a Tier 4 Visa. Find out more here.

We run a free pick-up service from Heathrow Airport that will bring you to campus and help you get set up in your accommodation. We will share a link to sign up to the pick-up online a few weeks before your arrival. We will also send out general transport instructions if you are travelling to campus from elsewhere.
We will send you a full Orientation timetable shortly before your arrival. You will attend a series of informative sessions covering what to expect from your life in London, go on a campus tour and attend an evening of fun social activities.
As part of your application you will be asked to list your preferred modules to take at Roehampton. We will allocate your classes based on your preferences and according to availability.
During your last day of Orientation, you will have the chance to speak with a member of the study abroad team who can make amendments to your timetable. There will also be an add/drop period during the first week or two of classes when you can make any essential last-minute changes.
