Our research has influenced national policy, supported communities across the globe, advocated for a fair and just society, and led to advances in health and wellbeing. It is fundamental to our University and plays a key role in our learning and teaching.

Research and Knowledge Exchange Centres
Our seven research and knowledge exchange centres help us to build an exciting research culture for staff and students.
They make our work more accessible to key partners as well as the local, national and global societies which it can benefit. They also provide a strong platform for us to collaborate with external partners on research and knowledge exchange projects, as well as strengthen our ability to offer dedicated support to organisations and businesses to meet their needs.
