Orientation and Freshers' Week give you the chance to take part in activities and settle into university over the first couple of weeks of the new term. There are compulsory activities including enrolment, your academic Department welcome, as well as lots of opportunities to engage in university life. The Roehampton Students' Union (RSU) puts on a packed events programme too, including "getting to know you" sessions for students who have returned to education after a break or a period of work. The Chaplaincy are also hosting a wide range of events for all students to attend. See the chaplaincy page for more information
Freshers' Fair takes place at the end of the first week. To get more of a flavour of social life at Roehampton as well as what the Students' Union does, visit the RSU website, and make sure you sign up for regular email updates, which cover all aspects of university life.

Make sure you read this email carefully and also your online guide to Orientation (available from August), to find out how to enrol and make a note of events to attend (you will receive a printed copy of your guide on your first day).
Halls Arrival Day: Sunday 16 September 2012 - a busy day, but there will be plenty of staff and Hall Reps to guide you through and help you settle in.
