Roehampton Professor speaks at the Women of the World Festival

Professor Ros Coward joined actress Diana Quick, journalist Yasmin Alibhai -Brown and Catherine Mayer, European Editor of Time Magazine, on the panel to discuss this proposition at the South Bank's Women of the World Festival.
Their conclusion? Certainly not . But her longevity , her 'match' with an age of austerity having been part of the war generation and the British people's readiness to forget the Diana years, means she's enjoying her most popular period ever.
Ros Coward is a professor of journalism at the University. She has worked for many years as a freelance journalist, contributing to several national newspapers and magazines.
